    free wifi

It was just a smart choice for a fleeting pause in London with excellent value for money. The wifi was free, but it hardly worked due to a weak signal. Be sure to grab breakfast early because the hours are really limited.

    great location
    friendly staff
    cold room
    poor cleanliness

Convenient location but needs major improvements

The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to explore attractions nearby. the room was cold and damp, and I had issues with the heating that made it uncomfortable. While the staff were friendly, the overall upkeep and cleanliness require serious attention for a better stay.

    good location
    friendly staff
    reasonable price

the room was okay for me, especially considering how hard it is to find a good price in london. the location is great, just a short subway ride to the palace, and i walked to the british museum too. the breakfast was a bit limited but decent enough with coffee and bread. the staff were really nice and helped with my heavy luggage, which i appreciated a lot.

    great location
    disappointing shower pressure

We enjoyed the clean room with comfy beds, perfect for our family stay. The hotel's location is ideal for visiting some local attractions, which made our trip even more convenient. Plus, we found everything we needed for a fun-filled stay.

In my wife’s opinion, the shower pressure was disappointing.

    great location
    fun stay
    broken mug

Had an amazing group trip with friends! We went to a concert at the O2 Arena and explored the city together. The hotel was in a great location—close to attractions. Just keep in mind that breakfast is simple, mostly toast, and some rooms might need maintenance, but overall, it was a fun stay!

Unfortunately, my room had a broken coffee mug, which made the experience less enjoyable. It was a bit disappointing to find such a basic issue in a room, but we made the best of it.

    Families, consider if you must

The room was decent and surprisingly clean, which I appreciated. The helpful receptionist made the check-in easier despite the disaster I walked into.

It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but I’d say it was bearable under the circumstances.

    cramped bathroom

    Perfect location for solo travelers!

Stayed for 5 nights in a single room. The spot was awesome, super close to trains and shops. the shower was kinda cramped and took a bit to figure out. Breakfast was alright, wish it was served longer. not a bad experience for someone traveling alone.

    Charming, Charming, Charming

The cozy atmosphere made me feel right at home. I loved how clean and crisp the towels and bedsheets were—they felt luxurious! Plus, the location was perfect for exploring, just a short walk from vibrant eateries and public transport.

The clean room and helpful receptionist made for an encouraging start. the limited breakfast options left much to be desired, with only coffee, tea, and bread available. Locating the hotel was straightforward, but the surrounding area felt a bit neglected, impacting the overall experience.

    clean room
    moldy sink

The location is great, with easy access to the tube and nearby restaurants. The room was clean, but the bathroom left much to be desired with its moldy sink and inadequate amenities. A bit noisy at times, but it met the basic needs for a budget stay.

    comfortable bed
    friendly staff
    great location
    poor cleanliness
    bad odor
    limited breakfast

The location of Grenville House is truly convenient, close to transport links which made getting around London easy. The staff at the front desk greeted me warmly upon arrival, which created a nice first impression. I found the bed in my single room to be comfortable, allowing for decent sleep. the room itself had a lingering smell that was unpleasant upon entering. While the room appeared to be clean, the corridors leading to it were not well maintained. I noticed dirty items left around that suggested a lack of proper housekeeping. The shared areas need a thorough cleaning. it felt neglected. Breakfast options were limited to basic items, which was a bit disappointing. I encountered issues with the breakfast schedule, as it finished too early.

    lack of elevator
    difficulty for seniors

I particularly enjoyed the warm and welcoming atmosphere of Grenville House Hotel. The common areas were cozy and easily accessible, making it comfortable for seniors like myself. The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions.

Elevator access would improve the overall experience.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the tube station 🚇. Sadly, the room was in desperate need of cleaning and updates. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless major changes are made.

I had a fantastic time exploring the British Museum, which was just a short 15-minute walk away, and also loved the vibrant atmosphere of Covent Garden, only about 2 km away, making my city strolls truly delightful as I discovered charming shops and eateries along the way.
